Eye Beauty Treatments

The Skin Culturist provide a wide range of eye beauty treatments designed to help shape your brows, eyes and face. Getting the perfect brow and perfect eyelash definitely isn’t easy.  Because it is so difficult to get them symmetrical the result is that we tend to over-pluck our brows and unfortunately, the result is that the brows look even less symmetrical than before. Our eye beauty treatments will shape your brows and tint both your lashes and brows to enhance your natural beauty.

Eyebrow Shaping

Exactly as it sounds, eyebrow shaping is a personal grooming process, used to pluck and trim eyebrow hairs so that the brow has a desired shape.

The benefits of eyebrow shaping include:

• It accentuates your eyes
• Makes you have a well-rested, younger and fresher appearance
• Lifts your eyes without an actual eye lift
• Helps to give you the natural look
• Enhances your face

How are the hairs plucked and trimmed?  Through a number of processes.  Hairs can be pulled out using a tweezer, they can be removed with wax, or they can be threaded.

Eyebrow Tinting

Eyebrow tinting involves smoothing a specially designed semi-permanent dye over your eyebrows to make them appear slightly darker and fuller than before.  Tinting helps to enhance your natural brows and make shaping them easier.

The tint usually lasts about 3-5 weeks and it is recommended that you have a tint touch-up every 4-6 weeks.

Eyebrow tinting is relatively safe as there are no harmful chemicals in the dye and it will not damage your eyebrow hairs.

The benefits to an eyebrow tint include:

• Although it is temporary, it does last weeks
• Having your eyebrows tinted gives them a much more natural look than using an eyebrow pencil to fill in the brows
• It is a great fix if you have overplucked
• Tinting makes your brows appear instantly thicker
• By tinting your eyebrows, you no longer need an eyebrow stick, meaning your make-up bag will be lighter and that’s one less thing to buy
• Saves time on having to fill in your eyebrows every morning.

Eyelash Tinting

Just like eyebrow tinting, this is a way of tinting your eyelashes to make them appear fuller and enhance your lash line.  It isn’t harmful and won’t damage your lashes.  Like brow shaping, it is only temporary, the dye will slowly fade and on average, we naturally lose one to five eyelashes per day.

Eyelash tinting gives your lashes the appearance of wearing mascara, without actually wearing mascara. Your lashes will look fuller and longer, you won’t need to wear any mascara and you’ll benefit in similar ways to an eyebrow tinting.
