Corrective Aesthetics

corrective aesthetics procedure london
The corrective aesthetics procedure begins with a consultation, this includes an evaluation of your medical history and personal expectations, as well as a facial analysis.
Based on clinicians recommendations, hyluronidase (also known as Hyalase) is then injected into your face.  This is a prescription only medication that works as an enzyme to catalyse the breakdown of hyaluronic acid (HA).  HA is the primary ingredient of most clinical grade dermal fillers available today.
In the extracellular matrix overtime, the hyaluronan is naturally hydrolysed by the body. Dermal fillers tend to dissolve over months or years and injecting exogenous reconstituted hyalase speeds this up. It does this by lowering the viscosity of the HA, increasing the permeability through tissue membrane so it can be broken down and absorbed quicker.

Please note, there is no reversal agent for calcium hydroxylapatite based (Radiesse) or poly L-lactic acid based (Sculptra) dermal fillers or permanent fillers like Aquamid, therefore, this will not work on these.
